Omega Carnega’s Carnival has threatened to take over the Open Day Events held by the fabulous Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.

There are two secret and opposing carnival crews that want YOU as their newest, brightest member. During orientation week the Infamous SʼAvatars and Dodgy Carnies will expect you to compete for a place. Without membership, your future life on campus will seem like a crazy carnival. SCOOT AGENCY will be there to assist you with the Initiation Activities.

Don’t miss your one and only opportunity to:

• Gather intel on the extensive QUT campus at kelvin Grove
• Compete with other teams for your place in history!
• Win prizes (ipods, vouchers, any much more)
• Play hilarious side show games in strange places

Mission date and location:

• July 26 between 10 am and 2 pm
• Kelvin Grove Campus - Open Day Venues

Simply turn up and you will find that we have left SCOOT Agency mission cards at every Faculty Information Booth. This card will give you the secret Agency code to begin your mission. Follow the SMS clues to find the hidden Carnival consol games until you finally reach the Initiation Chamber that is full of crazy game challenges. Once you complete this final challenge you will go in the draw for an iphone and other prizes.

There will be SCOOT AGENTS on campus to assist you. Follow their clues to the Initiation Room… the rest is up to you!

You will need a mobile phone with at least $1.80 of SMS credit to participate (one mobile per team)
Missions take 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

These are the SCOOT AGENTS that assisted Victoria University new students in February 2008. They were a WONDERFUL crew… 12 of us traveled from Brisbane (the core SCOOT CREW), 3 fabulous faculty staff and the rest are Vic Uni student volunteers… we hope to have a reunion in 2009!!!

• Tuesday 17 February at Footscray Park (Faculty of Business and Law students)
• Wednesday 18 February at Footscray Park (Faculty of Arts Education and Human Development and Faculty of Health,Engineering and Science students).
• Thursday 19 February at St Albans

You will need a mobile phone with $2 of SMS credit to participate (one mobile per team)

You will need to GET INITIATED in order to infiltrate a Carnival Crew.

1. You need to form a team of at least 2 collaborators (other new students) and have ONE mobile phone between you with $2.00 SMS credit.
2. Find a SCOOT AGENT and collect an ORIENTATION RECOVERY KIT (contains a map of the campus with secret locations and START CODES)
3. START your Initiation by TXTing (SMS) your Faculty START CODE.
4. Follow SMS clues to seek out Crew membership and find the location of Omega Carnegas Initiation Tent
5. Complete the Initiation Challenge with your team
6. Those that are initiated into the winning CREW will go into the draw to win an ipod for the entire team and a bunch of valuable vouchers.

Winners will be announced on the day. The location for this announcement will be included in the ORIENTATION RECOVERY KIT you will get from SCOOT AGENTS on the day of your orientation.

Confirmed…. The River Festival is at RISK of Carnival Contamination!!! Junior has been spotted at South Bank in Brisbane Australia. If you live nearby, please assist!!!

The world has become unstable… Earth’s Climate Changes are a key clue.

Although you will encounter many challenges… your ultimate mission is to uncover whether the activities of the Dodgy Carnies are linked to the effects of Climate Change. It seems that the weakening of the climate is making it easier for the Carnies to travel across dimensions from SCOOT World to Your World. This makes it very suspiscious indeed!

Thanks to all of you that participated in the latest SCOOT Mission located in Brisbane, Australia. As far as we know, the area has been cleared of all Dodgy Carnival activity. The Green Carnival Boxes have been returned to SCOOT World where we will monitor any further Dodgyness. For now, stability has returned to YOUR World and SCOOT World. This is due to the combined efforts of all SCOOT AGENTS.

However, this does not mean that Omega Carnega will not attempt another Carnival Invasion some where else, sometime soon!

The challenges you overcame to assist SCOOT Agency in Brisbane, will not be forgotten. The training you received is vital for the ongoing stability of all inter-connected worlds. Visitors to the South Bank Precinct and the inhabitants of SCOOT World are in your debt.
